About Antrix

Antrix started on 17 December 1990 by partners Peter and Anne, to provide costumes and desktop publishing to local customers.

Over the years, our services have gradually adapted to meet changing tastes and demands, and nowadays has predominantly evolved into the costumes being our main focus.

​

They say that “a picture paints a thousand words”.  This is not necessarily true when it comes to choosing the right costume. How many times have you bought an article online and then found it’s not what you were expecting?

At Antrix, we prefer to offer a more personal service when it comes to costumes.  All the costume and accessory pictures that you find on this site are items that are available from our premises, here in Loose, Maidstone (ME15 9TG).  Most costumes are for hire, but some are for sale, including ex-hire ones. We do not sell or hire online. Payment is by cash, card or cheque. (Bank transfers by arrangement).

Antrix is based in a private house, but don’t let that put you off, as appearances can be deceptive.  We currently have a collection of over 2000 costumes – mainly for adults but some children’s outfits are available.  We also stock a varied selection of accessories, including wigs, masks, hats, make-up and other costume related items.
